RESORT FOR MHRIL, MITHBAV, SINDHUDURG

Project brief involved designing a 200 keys resort for Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd. As a proposal to MTDC. Architecture in Konkan is a result of climate responsive strategies that are developed by the locals since ages. Specific elements of the local vernacular architecture have been adopted and reinterpreted with a modern approach to ensure that the overall development blends well within the landscape that is unique to this region. The proposal involved a thorough research of the local settlements and architectural styles.
