The project brief involved designing of a 35 rooms resort for Mahindra Holidays and Resorts India Ltd. as a retrofit to an existing derelict resort on a land covering approx.
15 acres.
The facility included 25 1BR rooms, 10 Studio tent rooms, restaurant, spa, holiday activities etc.
The concept was to design the resort with a built environment that would take inspiration from and reflect the key relationship between the village and the forest.
The project involved a thorough research of the existing settlements, street patterns and boundaries within the villages.
