project-3
Redevelopment of an industrial site into a new “quarter” with 400 new homes, shops, offices, pub and community facilities. The proposed redevelopment of the industrial site was planned in 3 phases with the community facilities in phase 1, to ensure an authentically sustainable community, founded on its ability to eliminate non-essential car journeys, to foster local businesses and to nurture the social and commercial interaction of its inhabitants. In conjunction with the residential development on the northern part of the estate, phase 2 and 3 included a regenerated industrial park.
